Connecting Headphones

Connect headphones/earphones to the Headphone Out
jack for private listening.
When headphones are connected, audio output from the
integrated speakers will be stopped automatically.
Lower the volume level before connecting headphones,
then gradually increase the volume for comfortable
listening.
Hearing experts advise against the constant use of
personal stereos played at high volume.
Constant high-volume use can lead to hearing loss.
If you experience ringing in your ears or hearing loss,
discontinue use immediately and seek medical advice.

Using the Integrated Speakers

Disconnect any headphones or earphones from the
Headphone Out jack to output audio from the integrated
speakers.

Connecting Power

Your player has an integrated rechargeable battery that
will provide up to 5 hours of music play time.
The battery should be charged fully (minimum 4 hours)
before its initial use to ensure optimum life-time perfor-
mance.
