1090 Memory module

For access, remove this FRU:
• "1010 Base cover assembly" on page 60
Removal steps
Note: Disconnect the battery pack cable from the system board. Use your fingernails to pull the connector
to unplug it. Do not pull the cable.
When installing: Insert the notched end of the memory into the socket. Push the memory firmly, and pivot it
until it snaps into the place. Make sure that it is firmly fixed in the slot and difficult to be moved.

For access, remove these FRUs in order:
• "1010 Base cover assembly" on page 60
• "1020 Hard disk drive, cable and bracket (for 38 W built-in battery model)" on page 61
• "1080 Thermal fan" on page 68
