  • Page 2 Hydraulic Clutch Cover Install Instructions 1. Remove stock clutch cover per factory service manual. 2. Remove clutch push rod bearing and oil slinger from transmission. 3. Remove retaining ring, factory bearing and thrust washers. 4. Press off oil slinger from pushrod *IMPORTANT* 5. Install new included HD bearing, thrust washers, brass spacer and snap ring. Sequence: Thrust washer, brass spacer, HD bearing, thrust washer and then snap ring. *Note* Lube bearing and washer surfaces with oil during assembly. 6. Reinstall pushrod in transmission with the thrust washers and bearing assembly. 7. Install Trask hydraulic clutch cover on transmission with new gasket and torque to factory specs. 8. Adjust clutch pushrod screw under the derby cover. Sequence: Loosen lock nut and turn pushrod screw counter clockwise out to make sure the pushrod will not bind. Then turn pushrod screw clockwise until it bottoms out. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN. Back out pushrod screw ¼ turn and tighten lock nut without turning the pushrod screw. 9. Install hydraulic clutch line and bleed hydraulic system.
