    Page 6 General Information These operating instructions should make it easier for you to become acquaint- ed with the product. They contain important information to ensure safe, appro- priate and cost-effective use of the equipment. The operating instructions endorse the directives of national regulations for the prevention of accidents and the protection of the environment.

    If supplied with an LC display, all measured parameter can be displayed directly at the monitoring unit (see page 19). These readings can be transmitted for analysis to the LANCIER monitoring sys- tem via the Lancier Tx-bus. The readings allow for the quality monitoring of sta- tionary pressurization systems and determination of the optimal maintenance time for the monitored pressurization system.

    Page 10 Mounting Wall Mounting The ACS is designed for wall mounting. The housing contains four drilled holes (2) for this purpose. The place of mounting should be dry and swept clean. Unit • Drill four 6 mm holes in a wall strong enough to support the device.

Connect the wire to the PT1000 screw clamp (8). External -50 to 180 °C temperature sensor (compressor temperature) Attach the temperature sensor to the compressor’s cylinder head, which is the area that develops the highest temperature owing to compression.

    Page 15 The Lancier Tx Bus The Lancier Tx bus allows for connection of up to 127 sensors to a pair of mon- itoring wires. Please note that the ACS can monitor up to 10 parameters that are transmitted in ten successive time windows, i.e. the ACS uses ten address- es in the Tx bus.

Close the housing cover before switching on the operating voltage. • Switch on the 20-72 V DC supply voltage of the ACS. • The ACS starts automatically when the pressurization system is engaged. Its display shows up with the screen content last shown for more than 10 sec- onds.
