Before you begin

In the box are ZAURA Starters and Masters.
•
Do not yet insert batteries in the Masters.
•
Decide which configuration you prefer:
– Easiest
Configuration, for Non‐Dimming systems (recom‐
mended): begin with Step One, over there on the right.

Custom Configuration, for systems with Dimmers: refer to the
next page.

Installing a System without Dimming Controls
Step One
A.
Replace the existing starters with the ZAURA starters.
B.
Turn on the light switch (all lights should be illuminated).
Step Two
A.
Insert a battery in the Master.
B.
Wait 1 minute.
C.
Press the Associate Non‐Dimmer button once and release.
D.
Wait 30 seconds to allow the association to complete.
Step Three
A.
Mount the base of the Master in the center of the room using the
screws or the sticky tape provided.
B.
Attach the Master to the base.
Step Four
A.
Exit the room. Your lights should extinguish within a few minutes.
B.
Reenter the room. Your lights should illuminate.

Identify the luminaries that you want to be non‐dimming and Attach the Master to the base. replace their existing starters with the ZAURA starters. Step Six Turn on the light switch (all lights should be illuminated). Exit the room. Your lights should extinguish within a few minutes. Step Two Reenter the room. Your lights should illuminate. Insert a battery in the Master. Wait 1 minute. Press the Associate Non‐Dimmer button once and release. Wait 30 seconds to allow the association to complete. Step Three Identify the luminaries for which you want dimming capability and replace their existing starters with the ZAURA starters. Turn on the light switch (all lights should be illuminated). Step Four Press the Associate Dimmer button once and release. Wait 30 seconds to allow the association to complete.
