Warranty Terms – Smart Series 12V 30A
This unit is supplied with a 2 year warranty against defects in material or workmanship. The following conditions
apply:
o
Damages caused by abuse, neglect, accident, modifications and improper use are not covered by the
warranty
o
The warranty is null and void if damage occurs due to negligent repairs
o
The condition of the internal control diode will verify if the unit was subject to over voltage or reverse
polarity and this will determine the warranty
o
The manufacturer will not be responsible for any amount of damage in excess of the retail purchase price
of the unit
o
Incidental and consequential damages are specifically excluded from coverage under this warranty,
including damage caused to any non-approved accessories
o
The warranty does not cover labour costs or costs associated with uninstalling/reinstalling the unit
o
The unit is warranted to the original purchaser only and does not extend to subsequent purchasers or
users
o
The customer is responsible for the inbound shipping costs back to Auto Marine, Manchester
o
Auto Marine will ship the repaired or warranty replacement part back to the customer
o
The warranty period starts 2 months from the date of manufacture, regardless of the date of purchase or
installation
o
The date of manufacture is detailed on the serial number label and is also stored in the microcontroller
memory
