The Mini Maxx V2 is not equipped to compensate for the crankcase ventilation detection sensor on 2016 Ford Powerstroke 6.7L models. This may result in a permanent diagnostic trouble code (DTC) or check engine light for the sensor. There is no mention of a way to clear the P04E3 crankcase vent code using the Mini Maxx V2.

To improve mileage on a 2014 6.7L Powerstroke using a MINI MAXX V2, follow these steps:
1. Select an Economy Tune – The preloaded tunes include different power levels. Choose a lower horsepower setting (e.g., 0 HP or 50 HP) to optimize fuel efficiency.
2. Monitor Key Parameters – Use the tuner’s display to track parameters like boost, intake temperature, and fuel rail pressure to ensure optimal combustion efficiency.
3. Disable Unnecessary Features – Adjust settings like daytime running lights or seat belt reminders if they affect energy consumption.
4. Ensure Proper Installation – Verify that the DEF, DPF, and SCR systems are correctly removed or disabled as required for tuning.
5. Drive Efficiently – Use smooth acceleration and avoid excessive idling to maximize fuel savings.
Always ensure compliance with local emissions laws before modifying the vehicle.
