Getting Started

1. Assemble

• Plug the base into a wall outlet. The light and pump
will turn on
• Place the grey cap adapter through the blue screw
cap and tighten onto the threaded vase to secure
the black valve (ensure that the black valve is still
inside the glass vase from shipping)

2. Insert and Fill

• Gently insert vase, adapter first, into the base
opening
• Ensure vase is seated firmly in an upright position
• Pour the entire bottle of algae food and the bottle of
algae into the vase
• Fill remainder of vase with filtered water to 2 inches
below the top

3. Cover

• Insert filter, pencil mark side up, under the lip of the
silicone lid
• Place lid onto glass vase so the vase sits between the
two sides of the lid
• Start breathing clean air!
