Caution And Safety Instructions
1. A ssembly must be carried out by an Adult.
2. E nsure hammock is fully assembled before use.
3. D O NOT exceed the maximum load of 100kgs.
4. D O NOT climb into hammock feet first.
5. D O NOT stand in hammock.
6. D O NOT dive into or jump about in hammock.
7. D O NOT stick your head through the suspension cords.
8. K eep suspension cords as straight as possible. DO NOT twist.
9. D O NOT use damaged or weakened hammock hanging
accessories.
10. H ammocks are not designed for swinging, playing, climbing
or to be used as a children's toy.
11. D O NOT leave children or pets unattended in or near hammock.
12. H ammock fabric, suspension cords and hanging accessories
will become worn over time and with use. Always inspect
prior to use and DO NOT use if items show signs of damage
or weakness.
13. A lways check the loading capacity before use.
14. K eep hammock clear of obstructions.
15. A llow a minimum of 50cm clearance range around the
perimeter of your hammock when in use (Fig. 1).
16. O nly use the hammock on level floors with shock-absorbing
properties such as carpet or outdoor grass to minimise the
risk of injury in case of an accident. DO NOT use on slippery
or hard surfaces.
17. N ever use a free standing brick wall to hang your hammock.
18. D O NOT modify hammock. Hammock must be used in
accordance of this manual.
19. D O NOT smoke in or around the hammock. Keep away from
heat or flames.
20. D O NOT use whilst wearing shoes, clothing, jewellery or
accessories that have a hook and loop fastener.
21. DO NOT use near sharp objects.
22. A copy of this manual must be provided should the hammock
transfer ownership.

  • Page 2 How To Hang Your Hammock You will require two fixed points, such as a trees, beams, posts, or dyna bolts in brick walls. Consult a qualified 1.8m builder if unsure. Never use a free standing brick wall to hang your hammock. 20-30cm Your hammock with require a minimum of 3 metres between fixing points to get the ideal shape. Rope may be needed to attach one end of the hammock, it is recommended to use a double piece to avoid hammock twisting. Temporary Installations For temporary installations, such as trees or beams, we recommend using the Two Trees hanging kit. 1. P lace the cord round the pole or tree, then thread through the figure eight hook. 2. T hread the cord through the clamp hook and secure at desired length. 3. R epeat process for other side of hammock. Ensure both hooks are secure, place hammock ends over hooks. Permanent Installations We recommend using the Two Trees screw eye and hook. Always check with your qualified builder if unsure of safety. For sturdy masonry walls (not air/hollow/single brick, besser block, or free standing walls) a 10mm dyna bolt with larger washer and rope can be used.
  • Page 3 How To Relax In Your Hammock 1. O pen the hammock fabric in the centre of the hammock and slowly and safely sit in the middle as you would a chair. 2. G ently lie back on a diagonal with your head on the edge of the hammock. 3. B ring your feet in and stretch them out, so you are lying on a diagonal. This is the traditional way to relax in a classic style hammock. NOTE: Do not climb into your hammock feet first. Bunnings Group Ltd bears reasonable, direct, expenses of claiming under the warranty. You may submit details and proof to our store for consideration. The warranty covers manufacturer defects in materials, workmanship and finish under normal use. This warranty is provided in addition to other rights and remedies you may have under law: our goods come with guarantees which cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ). You are entitled to replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
