All wheels are insulated by plastic bushes to avoid electrical connection and signal failures between both rails. The braking pads are also made of insulating material.

It is possible to equip the trolley with different wheel profiles according to the operating system. The axles are of high quality and can be removed by loosening the axle nut. For safety, the nut is secured against loosening.

Operating instructions aluminium trolley Ro-V 282 The brake is designed only as fixing brake. It is a negative or dead man brake. The 2 wheels of one axle carriage are equipped with the braking mechanism. The working principle is a simple mechanical blocking by one round brake pad which is sliding on the braking disc(rear plane of the rail wheel) and reduced/ avoids the rotating movement of the wheel.

These maintenance instructions should therefore be available to the staff responsible for maintaining the machine at all times.

This is the only way a smooth operation and the safety precautions may be ensured. Usage of other than the original spare parts may cause extensive consequential damage, which is not covered by the warranty terms.

The maintenance better has to be done inside a workshop. Warning of crushing hazards! Nobody may stand in the machine’s working range while the machine is being moved.

Bent or worn out elements have to be replaced before use. Completeness: • Check that all pluggable connections (Bolts, split pins) are where supposed to, especially after repairing or disassembling.
Operating instructions aluminium trolley Ro-V 282 3.8 Self made repairs or attachments Merely use original wearing parts, especially for bolts, carriages and other safety-relevant components! Otherwise serious damages or accidents may be the consequence. Damages, caused by use of improper parts will not be covered by warranty. Danger of injury! The materials of several pins and carriers are made of high-strength or high carbon steel.
