To manually operate the Platinum Ultimate stairlift:

1. Use the remote control:
- To move the stairlift without a passenger or assist a seated passenger, press and hold the appropriate direction button on the remote control.

2. Use the swivel seat:
- The manual swivel seat locks into 3 positions.
- To swivel, press the swivel lever, rotate the seat, and release the lever to lock it in position.

3. Use the onboard controls:
- Sit on the seat, fasten the safety belt, and place your feet on the footplate.
- Press and hold the direction controller to move the stairlift up or down.

4. Manual move via the control panel:
- Access “MANUAL MOVE OPTIONS” from the top-level menu.
- Use the bottom left or right buttons to select “ROTATE.”
- Press the middle left or right buttons to rotate the chair manually.
- Stop when the chair is level.

Always ensure the arms are down and the seat is locked before travel.
