XC for Single Boilers. Note that all of the make-up is diverted through the shell of the
blowdown unit. Be sure that the piping is large enough to handle the make-up water
required. Place the discharge blowdown connection to the sewer so that it is easy to
take a sample and easy to measure the rate of flow. This blowdown is cool. The unit is
controlled by adjusting the handwheel and observing the thermometer, so see that they
are conveniently placed.
