SHUTTER/SCREEN MOTOR
The shutter/screen motor is a receiver which belongs to HE-series and is designed especially for use with a series of the On/Off self-learning receivers. The unit has two modes of operation; manual and automatic. In manual mode, you can control the shutter/screen motor by controling it with the remote control or the buttons on the unit itself. In the automatic mode the included light sensor is placed on the window, and the motor will respond to preset values of light and dark.

INSTALLATION
- Make sure the shutter/screen is down. Then remove the current tape winder and unroll the tape. In its place make a hole 4cm x 14cm in the wall and 17cm deep. Be sure the hole will be in the vertical line to the entry of a tape from the outside to avoid wrong winding the tape on the spool (3)

- Prepare the wiring and pull the end of the power cord from the hole in the wall. Remove the cable holder from the back of the motor. Connect the power supply and mount the cable holder back (4)

- Insert the tape into the motor from the front side, in the gap between the front roll (2b) and the bottom edge of the hole (5). Insert the tape until it appears at the back side of the motor.

- Place the hole from the end of the tape on the pin of the main spool (6) and by pressing ▲ "Up" button (2c) wind the tape.

- Mount the motor inside the hole made in the wall. Fix it to the wall using two or four fixing screws.
- Place remote battery, and pay attention to the polarity (+ and -) (7).

SETTINGS AND USE

- Press the "Timer" (2h) and the "Light" (2j) buttons simultaneously until you see 2 red LED's (2g & 2i)
- Press the ▲ "Up" or ▼ "Down" button on your remote (1c), if learning is correct the 2 LED's will turn off. If you don't press any buttons before the LED's turn off the device will exit the learning mode. A maximum of 5 remotes can be learned to the shutter/screen motor

- To reset all previously learned remote controls, press the R "Reset" key (2f).
Setting highest and lowest point
Set the highest and lowest point as follows:
- To set the highest point:
Press and hold the SET button(2e), press the UP button (2c) and release as soon as the hatch goes up (the red LEDs blink).
Once the desired highest point is reached, release the SET button.
- Now set the lowest point:
Press and hold the SET button (2e), press the DOWN button (2d) and release as soon as the hatch goes down (the red LEDs blink).
Once the desired lowest point is reached, release the SET button.
- To change the settings, perform the above procedure again. Once this is programmed successfully, you can set the timer function.

- Press the "Timer" button (2h) once to switch between timer on and timer off. When the "Timer" indicator LED (2g) is lit, the unit will work with the timer, when LED is off, the unit won't use the timer
- Timer only works if you have set automatic highest and lowest point. At the time you want the curtain to open, e.g. in the evening, press the "Timer" button (2h) and ▲"Up" button (2c) at the same time. At the time you want the curtain to close, e.g. in the morning, press the "Timer" button (2h) and ▼ "Down" button (2d) at the same time.
Sunlight controlling function

- To use the sunlight control function, first connect the light sensor (1b) cable to the unit (2k). Place the suction cup on a window in the place where it can receive the best sunlight
- Sunlight control only works when highest and lowest points are set. When the "Light" indicator LED (2i) is on, the motor will use the sunlight settings, when the LED is off, the motor won't respond to sunlight
- To set the sunlight level, press the "Set" button (2e) and "Light" button (2j) at the same time. The "Light" indicator LED (2i) will blink for ten seconds, sensing the current sunlight intensity
- If the light intensity is over the set value for 10 minutes the curtain will fall to the lowest set point. After 20 minutes the curtain will go up to receive light for the second time. If the light intensity is still over the set value, the curtain will stop until it senses the light is below the set value, then the sensor will rise to the highest point.
Deleting settings
- To delete all remote controls from the unit, press the R "Reset" key (2f) and all remote control ID's will be removed from memory. You can start again with learning remotes
- To delete all set data, e.g. sunlight and timer settings, press the R "Reset" key (2f) and all data will be deleted.
TIPS
- The transmitting range is shortened when the signal must go through floors and walls
- When the unit is used with its maximum capacity for 3 minutes, it will need 30 minutes to cool down.
