  1. When charging and the speaker is turned on, the power level indicator will blink and travel up. When charge is complete, the indicator lights will remain lit. While charging, when the speaker is turned off, only the charge indicator will remain constant.
  2. For best speaker performance, please check the battery level before each use.
  3. To ensure a full charge and for optimal audio playback, please fully charge the speaker once a month.
  4. Please turn off the speaker when not in use.

Note:

  1. When the speaker has no audio source input while it is switched on, it will turn off automatically after 10 minutes.
  2. You will also hear an indicator tone when the speaker is turned on, connected or disconnected from a Bluetooth device, and when the battery voltage is low.
  3. Battery playback time (offers up to approximately 10 hours) may vary from music sources and volume settings.

Connections

Connections

  1. Turn on speaker
  2. On your device (mobile phone, tablet device, MP3/MP4 player etc.), go to Bluetooth to search and select "EDIFIER MP280 Connect".
  3. Pair your device with "EDIFIER MP280 Connect".
  4. Press play on your device and adjust volume to a desired level. 5.To disconnect Bluetooth: Press & hold

Note:

  1. Bluetooth connectivity and compatibility may be different between different source devices, depending on the software version of the source.
  2. To enjoy the full Bluetooth functions of this product, please ensure your mobile device has A2DP/HFP profile.
  3. PIN code for connection is "0000" if needed.
  4. In Bluetooth mode, "previous/next track" is ideal for supporting AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile) protocol device.
  5. In Bluetooth mode, the speaker power level will display on some phones when connected (*Apple and Xiaomi phones are compatible).

NFC (Near Field Communication) function

Connections - NFC function

  1. Turn on speaker
  2. Switch on NFC function on your device.
  3. Place your device near the speaker. NFC will connect to Bluetooth automatically. Your device is now connected to the speaker.
  4. Press play on your device and adjust the volume to a desired level.

Disconnect:
You can switch off NFC function after Bluetooth is connected, and the speaker will remain connected via Bluetooth.

When a phone call comes in while playing music in Bluetooth mode

  • Press and hold the "" key to reject call;
  • Press the " " key once to answer the call, and repeat to end the call;
  • When you are answering, press and hold the " " key to switch conversation to your mobile phone from speaker.

microSD card mode

Max. 32GB, MP3/WMA/WAV(16Bit little endian) format microSD card required. (not included)

  1. Insert microSD card into slot.
  2. Play music on your device and adjust volume to a desired level.

Line In input

  1. Connect to source using 3.5mm auxiliary cable.
  2. Play music on your device and adjust volume to a desired level.

The USB output can be used to charge your mobile device using the available USB cable.

Troubleshooting

  • Switch the EDIFIER MP280 off then on and reconnect to the audio source.
  • Ensure Bluetooth function is enabled on your Bluetooth devices.
  • Move the devices closer and retry the connection.
  • Try another Bluetooth device for connection.
  • Switch the system off then on and reconnect to the audio source.
  • Confirm that the system is ON and not in STBY mode.
  • Check the master volume and confirm that it is turned up.
  • Check audio source to confirm that it is functioning properly.
