Before 1st USE
This accessory works only with Swissvoice Xtra 2155/3155
Power on Xtra Ringer 8155
Connect to the power supply
- Connect plug in corresponding socket in the Ringer. Insert power plug in an electrical outlet.
Only use power adaptor supplied with the unit.
Registration
- Press and hold
on the telephone base of Swissvoice Xtra 2155 (right side) or Xtra 3155 (left side) in idle mode for around 5 seconds.
- Red LED light bar on either base will be on.
- Press and hold
on right side of Xtra Ringer 8155 about 6 seconds until
Green LED is flashing for registration. It takes max. 90 seconds to complete the registration process.
- When registration completes, the Xtra Ringer 8155 will emit confirmation beep and
Green LED will be on, and Red LED light on either base will be off.
If registration fails, the base unit will not emit confirmation beep after 90 seconds. Pls. repeat the above procedure. The Xtra Ringer 8155 can be wall mountable (2 screws (not included) mounted on the back. (Fig.1)

- Flash LED (white)
- Flashes when receiving an incoming call.
Note: Take care not to look on the LED closely during flashing due to strong white LED brightness.
- Loud speaker
- Ring when receiving an incoming call if set at ring mode.
- LED
: Red, On when AC power is connected
: Green, On when it is powered.
Flash: in registration mode.
: Blue while checking signal strength.
- Side switch Keys
: Slide to switch among the ringer volumes (low, medium, or high).
- only White LED is flashing. (loudspeaker is off).
- only loudspeaker is ringing. (white LED is off).
- Both White LED and loudspeaker are ON.
- Both White LED and loudspeaker are OFF.
: Slide to switch among three ring melodies.
: Press and hold to enter the pairing mode.
: Power jack
Troubleshooting
Xtra Ringer 8155
doesn't work with
the telephone
base (Swissvoice
Xtra 2155 or Xtra
3155) |
- Make sure the unit is connected to the power supply, or with the AA alkaline batteries installed.

- The Xtra Ringer 8155 may be deregistered from your telephone base. Refer to Registra tion procedure for registration again.
|
- The Xtra Ringer 8155 may be out of range. Move it closer to your telephone base.
|
- Check if side switch is not on" D" position (Fig.3).

Safety
This telephone's accessory is not designed for Emergency Calls when the main power fails.
Do not use your telephone's accessory to notify a gas leak or other potential explosion hazard.
Do not open your device or its power supply to avoid risk of electrical shock. Do not attempt to open the batteries, as they contain hazardous chemical substances.
Your telephone's accessory must be located in a dry place away from hot, humid and direct sunlight condition. To avoid radio signal interference, place the phone at least 1 meter away from other electrical appliances or other phones.
