HOE GEBRUIKEN? Inleiding Dit apparaat is een Infrarood Thermometer voor contactloze temperatuurmeting, die de oppervlaktetemperatuur van een object bepaalt door de hoeveelheid infrarood-energie te meten die door het oppervlak van het object wordt uitgestraald. Elk object, waarvan de temperatuur hoger is dan het absolute nulpunt, straalt infrarode energie uit. -

Emissiviteit beschrijft de energie emitterende eigenschappen van materialen. De meeste organische materialen en geverfde of geoxideerde oppervlakken hebben een emissiviteit van ongeveer 0,95, de standaardinstelling voor het product. Om de nauwkeurigheid van metingen te verbeteren, stel je de emissiviteit in op basis van de tabel in het volgende hoofdstuk “EMISSIVITEIT VAN VEELVOORKOMENDE OBJECTEN”. -

Scherm & Knopfuncties Naarmate de afstand (D) van het te meten doel groter wordt, wordt de spotgrootte (S) van het door het apparaat gemeten gebied groter. De relatie tussen afstand en spotgrootte (D:S) voor dit apparaat wordt weergegeven in de volgende afbeelding. De spotgrootte geeft 90% omcirkelde energie aan. -

EMISSIVITEIT VAN VEELVOORKOMENDE OBJECTEN Emissiviteit beschrijft de energie-emitterende eigenschappen van materialen. De meeste organische materialen en geverfde of geoxideerde oppervlakken hebben een emissiviteit van ongeveer 0,95. U kunt de nauwkeurigheid van jouw metingen verbeteren met de EMIT-knop. Experimenteren en ervaring helpen je bij het kiezen van de beste instelling voor specifieke metingen. De verwijzing naar emissiviteitsinstellingen in de tabel zijn suggesties voor typische situaties. -

HOW TO USE? Introduction This device is an infrared thermometer for non-contact temperature measurement, which determines the surface temperature of an object by measuring the amount of infrared energy radiated by the object’s surface. Any object whose temperature is higher than absolute zero radiates infrared energy. The radiated infrared energy is proportionate to the temperature of the object itself. -

Emissivity describes the energy-emitting characteristics of materials. Most organic materials and painted or oxidized surfaces have an emissivity of approximately 0.95, the default setting for the product. To enhance the accuracy of measurements, set the emissivity based on the table in the next chapter “EMISSIVITY OF COMMON OBJECTS”. How to Measure? 1. -

Distance and Spot Size As the distance (D) from the target being measured increases, the spot size (S) of the area measured by the unit becomes larger. The relationship between distance and spot size (D:S) for this device is shown in the next image. The spot size indicates 90 % encircled energy. The maximum D:S is obtained when the thermometer is 900 mm (36 in) from the target resulting in a spot size of 75 mm. -

You can improve the accuracy of your measurements with the EMIT button. Experimentation and experience will help you choose the best setting for specific measurements. The reference to emissivity settings in the table are suggestions for typical situations. -
