f Although the battery is suitable for use
in all weather conditions, it should not be
fully submerged in water, nor stored in a
wet enviroment.
f Do not subject cells or batteries to
mechanical shock.
f Keep battery packs out of the reach of
children.
f In case of damage and improper use of
the battery, vapours and smoke may
be emitted. Ventilate the area and seek
medical help in case of complaints.
The vapours and smoke can irritate the
respiratory system.
f Use the battery only in conjunction with
your Honda Power Products. This measure
alone protects the battery against dangerous
overload.
f Use only original Honda batteries with
the voltage listed on the nameplate of
your Power Products. When using other
batteries, e.g. imitations, reconditioned
batteries or other brands, there is danger of
injury as well as property damage through
exploding batteries.
f The battery can be damaged by pointed
objects such as nails or screwdrivers or by
force applied externally. An internal short
circuit can occur and the battery can burn,
smoke, explode or overheat.
