MOUNTING CONSIDERATIONS
The MKR-27 60A Circuit Breaker is a manual reset breaker designed for marine environments. It is compatible with all Minn Kota trolling
motors rated for 12VDC, 24VDC, 36VDC, and 48VDC with a 60-amp rating. Additional circuit breaker features include:
• Compliant with US Coast Guard ignition protection
33 CFR § 183.410
• IP67 waterproof for use in fresh or salt water
• Stainless steel studs with included protective stud insulator
• Surface mount-protected studs
• Stud threads are ¼" – 28
• Manual reset
• Push-to-trip button feature
• Operating temperature -32C to 82C
• Storage temperature -34C to 149C
• Vibration tested
For safety and compliance reasons, we recommend that you follow
American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) standards when rigging
your circuit breaker. Altering boat wiring should be completed by
a qualified marine technician. The following specifications are
for general guidelines only. When mounting the Circuit Breaker,
please give consideration to the following:
a. Review and follow all of the information in the Battery and
Wiring Diagram section of the trolling motor Owner's Manual.
b. The diameter of the two mounting holes is 0.26 inches or
6.6cm. Select mounting hardware appropriate for the mounting
holes and the mounting location.
c. The minimum surface to mount the Circuit Breaker measures
2.91 inches by 1.9 inches.
