    Part 1 – Introduction Rear Panel Connections Network Connection Power Cable Connection This DVR is capable of connecting to networks via an ethernet connector. Connect an RJ-45 cable (Cat5, Cat5e, or Cat6) to the DVR's network port. It's possible to operate and upgrade the DVR remotely over a network.

Connect mechanical or electrical switches to AI 1 through 4 and the GND (ground) connector. In order to be recognized by the DVR, the signal from an alarm in device must be more than 3.0V (Normally Closed) or less than 0.3V (Normally Open) and maintained for at least 0.5 seconds.
