INTRODUCTION

It is a compact device designed to relieve allergy, cold and some other respiratory disorders. With proper care and use, it will provide you with many years of reliable service.
We encourage you to thoroughly read this guidebook to learn about the features of this product. Any use of this product other than its intended use should always be avoided.

INTENDED USE

Nebulizers are used for inhalation therapy for asthma, chronic bronchitis, and other respiratory illnesses.

PRECAUTIONS

information NOTE:

  1. Read all instructions carefully before use
  2. The following basic precautions are needed when using an electrical product:

Product cautions:

To avoid electrical shock:

  • Keep the unit away from water
  • Do not immerse the power cord or the unit in liquid
  • Do not use while bathing
  • Do not reach for a unit that has fallen into water - immediately unplug the unit.
  1. Never operate the unit if it has any damaged parts (including power cord), if it has been dropped or submersed in water. Promptly send it to a service center for examination and repair.
  2. Open top cover during operation is prohibited as it may cause severe injury.
  3. Disconnect the unit from the electrical outlet before cleaning, filling and after each use.
  4. Do not use other attachments unless recommended by manufacturer.

warning Operating Cautions:

Nozzle pin

  1. Connect this product to an appropriate voltage outlet for your model.
  2. Do not run this product unattended.
  3. If the furnish tank is empty, do not attempt to operate the unit to avoid scald.
  4. Change the water in furnish tanks after each use.
  5. If any abnormality occurs, discontinue use immediately until the unit has been examined and repaired.
  6. Do not put your eyes on mask when steam is generated to avoid scald.
  7. If there is no steam generated from the heater tank, or water from furnish tank can not be sucked, shut off the unit and unplug it from the mains. Then carefully use the attached nozzle pin to insert into the nozzles of heater tank and/or furnish tank to make them through as shown on figure 1. Do not use other pins except the attached one to avoid damage to the unit.
  8. Do not block the vent holes on both sides of mask
  9. Always unplug the product immediately after use.

Storage Cautions:

  1. Do not store the unit under direct sunlight, high temperature or humidity.
  2. Keep the unit out of reach of small children.
  3. Always keep the unit unplugged while not in use.
  4. To store the unit for an extended period of time, open heater cover to keep the heater tank air dry.

Cleaning Cautions:

  1. Do not immerse the unit in water. It may damage the unit.
  2. Disconnect the unit from electrical outlet before cleaning.
  3. Clean all necessary parts after each use as instructed in this guidebook.

OPERATING YOUR STEAM NEBULIZER


It is important to clean the unit before the first time of use and after each use. For details, see «Cleaning and Maintenance» in this guidebook.

  1. Place the unit on a rigid and flat surface.
  2. Remove top cover from main body.
  3. Open heater cover by turning counterclockwise.
  4. Fill approximate 20ml pure water into heater tank with the attached cup. Do not overfill or the ventilation holes of heater tank will be blocked.
    NOTE! Do not fill saline water into heater tank.
  5. Replace heater cover. Make sure it is tightly placed to avoid leakage of steam.
  6. Fill approximate 80 ml pure water or saline water with attached cup into furnish tank as shown on figure 2.
    NOTE! If saline water is used, follow your physician's instructions. Do not use saline water with salt's concentration more than 7% as it might cause harm to your body.
  7. Replace top cover on main body. Make sure the suction tube is connected to the nozzle and inserted into furnish tank.
    NOTE! Avoid bending the suction tube to allow smooth flow of water into the nozzle.
  8. Place the mask on top cover.
  9. Plug power cord into an appropriate electrical outlet for your model. Make sure the power switch on power cord is at »OFF» status before plugging.
  10. Press on power switch to begin treatment. The lamp at the bottom of unit will be lit.
  11. Adjust the slide lid for a comfortable treatment (See figure 3). Slide the lid down for smaller particle size of steam, which is more comfortable for the inhalation of nose. Slide the lid up for bigger particle size of steam, which is more comfortable for the inhalation of mouth.
  12. After approx. 7 minutes, when the steam output becomes less and weaker, or the water in furnish tank is fi nished, press power switch to shut off the unit.

    Shut off the unit within 3 minutes to avoid scald and overheating of the unit.
  13. Unplug the unit from electrical outlet.
  14. For next use, please wait for 10 minutes to allow the unit to cool down.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

information NOTE! Always disconnect the unit from electrical outlet and never immerse the unit in water.


Do not open the heater tank cover right after use, as the cover might be very hot. Wait for approximate 10 minutes to allow it to completely cool.

Cleaning the parts:

  1. Remove top cover.
  2. Remove furnish tank and pour out remaining water in drain.
  3. Open heater tank cover and pour out remaining water in heater tank.
  4. The furnish tank, top cover, mask, heater tank cover and suction tube should be cleaned with a mild detergent or commercially available disinfectant. Thoroughly rinse each part and allow to completely air dry.
  5. Wipe out heater tank with a soft, lint-free cloth.

Cleaning the main unit:
The main unit should be cleaned with a soft cloth moistened with a non-abrasive cleanser and water.

Maintenance:
If saline water has been used, use pure water to re-activate the unit for a few minutes to clean the nozzle.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Should any problems persist after you have made the following checks, return the unit to a nearest service center for examination and repair.

Check if the furnish tank is overfilled

Pour out some water
Set flat the unit

Check if the heater tank cover is firmly locked
Check if nozzle is firmly locked
Lock the heater tank cover firmly
Lock the nozzle firmly

WARRANTY

Warranty period is 2 years from the date of purchase.
This warranty doesn't cover any damages caused by improper using, packaging and the accessories supplied with the device and those parts subject to normal wear and tear.
The warranty does not apply to damage caused by using adapters not recommended by the B.Well company and the overvoltage.
When a manufacturing defect is revealed during the warranty period a faulty unit would be repaired or, if repairing is impossible, replaced with another one.
The manufacturer may change units partially or completely if necessary, without prior notice. Manufacturing date is encoded in the SN number at the bottom of the device: two first numbers are numbers of the week; two other numbers are last numbers of the year.
Manufacturing date of the spare parts, which can be bought separately from the device is encoded in the LOT number on the sticker: two first numbers are numbers of the week, two other numbers are last numbers of the year.
