When an earth leakage or an electric shock occurs in the protected circuit, as long as the earth leakage current reaches the set earth leakage operating current value, the output signal of the secondary winding of the zero-sequence current transformer will trigger the thyristor to conduct, and the earth leakage trip will be energized and pulled in, so that the earth leakage breaker will be tripped, thus cutting off the power supply to protect against earth leakage and electric shock.
