Installation Process (inc. 12V Water Pump) Before use, it is important to prepare the unit by installing the proper components. In this example, we will be preparing the portable water heater to be used with a water input from the supplied 12-volt pump. 1.

5. Locate the black water inlet hose (with silver fitting). Insert the black rubber washer into this crimped swivel fitting. Insert black rubber washer 6.
