SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • By ignoring the safety instructions the manufacturer can not be hold responsible for the damage.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
  • Never move the appliance by pulling the cord and make sure the cord can not become entangled.
  • The appliance must be placed on a stable, level surface.
  • The user must not leave the device unattended while it is connected to the supply.
  • This appliance is only to be used for household purposes and only for the purpose it is made for.
  • The appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
  • To protect yourself against an electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug or appliance in the water or any other liquid.
  • Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
  • Always disconnect the device from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
  • Do not allow children to use the device without supervision.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

  • Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers, protective foil or plastic from the device.
  • Before using your appliance for the first time, wipe off all removable parts with a damp cloth. Never use abrasive products.
  • Place the device on a flat stable surface and ensure a minimum of 10 cm. free space around the device. This device is not suitable for installation in a cabinet or for outside use.

  • Run the appliance no longer than 10 minutes continuous, after that always let the appliance cool down for 10 minutes.

USE

Use

  • Press the lock button, put the head against the body, make sure the tabs on the head will fall into the slots on the body (fig. 1). Move the head anticlockwise so it will fastened tightly (fig. 2).
  • Place the snake into the head, long end first (fig. 3).
  • Place the cutting blade onto the snake shaft with the blades facing outwards (fig.4). If the blade is not fitted properly, the meat will not be grinded.
  • Place the desired cutting plate against the cutting blade, make sure the tabs fall into the slots (fig. 5).
  • Support or press the centre of the cutting plate with one finger then screw the fixing ring onto the head with another hand (fig. 6). Do not over tighten.
  • Place the hopper plate on the head and fix it into position.
  • Cut all foods into pieces (Sinewless, boneless and fatless meat is recommended, approximate size: 20 mm x 20 mm x 60 mm) so that they fit easily into the hopper opening (please only use thawed meat).
  • Plug the unit on and switchⅠ/ Ⅱknob to "Ⅰ",then switch ON/OFF/R knob to "ON" position.
  • Feed the ingredients into the hopper plate, make sure you will use the food pusher (fig. 7), never push the ingredients by hand.

Reverse function

  • In case of jamming switch off the appliance by pressing theⅠ/ Ⅱknob to the "Ⅱ" position and ON/OFF/R switch to the "R" position.
  • The snake will be rotating in the opposite direction, and the head will get empty.
  • If this doesn't work there may be an obstruction, switch off the unit and clean it.

Making Kibbe

  • Disassemble by reversing the steps from figure 5 to 3 to remove the cutting plate and cutting blade.
  • Place both kibbe attachments onto the feed shaft together, make sure the tabs will fit into the slots (fig. 8).
  • Screw cap into place. Do not over tighten (fig. 9).

Making sausage

  • Assemble the sausage attachment as shown in figure 11.
  • Prepare the sausage meat and soak the casing for approx. 10 minutes in tepid water. Calculate approx 1.60 m casing for each kilo of sausage filling. You can use natural casing or artificial casing. Ask your butcher.
  • Slide the soaked casing on the sausage horn. Tie the end of the casing and after filling a part; turn the sausage for some time in order to produce an empty section of casing and to tie the sausage.
  • Switch on the electric mincer and use the pusher only to gently push the seasoned meat into the filling tube. If the casing gets stuck on the sausage horn, wet it with tepid water.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Make sure the motor has stopped completely.
  • Disconnect the plug from the power outlet.
  • Disassemble by reversing the steps from picture 6 to 1.
  • To remove the cutting plate easily, place a screwdriver between the cutting plate and the head as illustrated and lift it up (fig. 12).
  • Press the lock button, move the head clockwise as illustrated on (fig. 13) and take out the head.
  • Remove meat, etc. wash each part in warm soapy water.
  • A bleaching solution containing chlorine will discolor aluminum surfaces.
  • Do not immerse the motor housing in water, but only wipe it with a damp cloth.
  • Thinners and petrol will crack or change the color of the unit.
  • Wipe all the cutting parts by vegetable oil - wet cloth.

In addition, the original purchase (invoice, sales slip or receipt) is to be submitted with the date of purchase, the name of the retailer and the item number of the product.
