  • Page 2 Introduction Thank you for choosing a Tate Airflow product. Tate Airflow products are engineered to maximize the efficiency of your data center air handling system by isolating cold supply and hot exhaust airflow. We would be interested in hearing any comments you may have on this installation manual, product, or overall experience.
  • Page 3 Please ensure the installment site is clean and level prior to assembly. Check level of floors and racks. (!) Check level of floors and racks. 1. Your dual door unit will arrive in one (1) cardboard box with Tate Airflow logos. 2. Remove the lid and you will find the floor and rack mounting hardware.
  • Page 4 4. Remove the layer of protective cardboard. The left or right sliding door (depending on your choice) sits here with the door side post right beside it. The header bar sits underneath the door side post. Left or right Door side post single sliding door © 2014 Tate Access Floors, Inc.
  • Page 5 6. Put the header bar on top of the door side panel and side post. Using an Allen key, tighten in place with the long socket screw. Start with the screw at the top left hand side corner. Then put the black end cap on. caps © 2014 Tate Access Floors, Inc.
  • Page 6 8. The header bar and the side post are now connected to the side panel. Using 2 people carefully lift up and place against aisle end. Position as desired. Make sure that the area is free from obstructions. © 2014 Tate Access Floors, Inc.
  • Page 7 Using the drill, bolt down the frame to the floor at the door side panel. It should be drilled down at the left and the right of the frame. 10. On the right hand side, drill the side door post to the floor. Drill behind the post frame. © 2014 Tate Access Floors, Inc.
  • Page 8 12. Use the level to ensure that the frame is in the correct location and is not tilted in any way. Use the level on the sides and on top of the header bar. Frame is level © 2014 Tate Access Floors, Inc.
  • Page 9 Tighten the thumbwheels top and bottom on the outside of the door. The door will be adjusted properly, when it covers the side post completely when fully closed. 14. Once tightened it should look like below. © 2014 Tate Access Floors, Inc.
