RediLead
is a convenient, self-retracting lead that attaches to your pet's collar or harness.
WARNING: Because RediLead retracts, it requires special precautions and careful use to reduce the risk of injury. Everyone who uses
this retractable RediLead must read the enclosed "Safety Precautions and Instructions for Use" manual. There is no other use for
RediLead other than the use listed here. Use RediLead ONLY when the pet DOES NOT exceed the specified weight on the packaging.
CAUTION: Before using RediLead, verify the lead and the pet's collar or harness can withstand the pet's full force. Excessive force
caused by very hard pulls, lunges, or running may lead to damage. Visually inspect your RediLead and the pet's color or harness before
each use. If you notice any damage or if your RediLead no longer functions properly, immediately discontinue use. KEEP OUT OF
REACH OF CHILDREN.
WARNING: It is important for you to read the following instructions before using your new RediLead to avoid risk of facial or bodily
injuries to people and animals, including but not limited to eye injuries, burns, abrasions, cuts, breakage, and amputations of paws,
fingers, hands and limbs.
RediLead is NOT a toy. RediLead has been engineered and designed to help you lead your pet. It is for use with obedient, well-trained
pets ONLY. RediLead is for use with pets that respond to voice and sight commands
DO NOT use RediLead with a disobedient or uncontrollable pet. RediLead is not to be used to restrain or control your pet.
DO NOT keep RediLead permanently attached to the pet's collar or harness. This feature is for convenience while your pet is being
supervised. Pet owners are always responsible for keeping their pets under control. DO NOT use RediLead on a pet around children
unattended.
REDILEAD SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
CUTTING, BURNING, AND FINGER BREAKAGE AND AMPUTATIONS: If the cord or tape runs across skin, it can cause
abrasions, a rope burn or severe cuts. If the cord or tape, wraps around fingers or catches on a ring or other jewelry, a
lunge by your pet or a hard pull on the RediLead can break or amputate fingers.
DO NOT touch the cord or tape or allow it to warp around any part of your body. DO NOT grab the retractable cord or tape
while your pet is attached, because of a potential cutting hazard, especially to fingers. DO NOT wrap the retractable cord
or tape around any part of your body - potential burning or cutting or breaking hazard, especially on fingers and legs, can
occur.
EYE AND FACE INJURIES: If your pet's collar or harness breaks or if the RediLead disconnects from the collar or harness,
the handle can snap back and seriously injure your body, including fingers, hands, legs, eyes or face.
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN: DO NOT use RediLead around infants and children of any age unattended. DO NOT
use RediLead near or while operating a carrier or device used to transport infants, or children. Serious risk of injuries,
including but not limited to cuts, abrasions, burns, breakage, and amputations may occur.
USE PRODUCT ONLY ON PETS: RediLead is designed only for use on pets, and only for pets that weigh 25 pounds or less.
DO NOT attach RediLead to child, or other human being.
DO NOT use RediLead to tie up your pet.
DO NOT use RediLead from inside of a moving, standing, or parked vehicle.
DO NOT use RediLead through a window or door of a vehicle. DO NOT use RediLead when near a moving vehicle. DO NOT use RediLead
when on or near a motorcycle, bicycle, stroller, baby carriage, wheelchair or similar machine. DO NOT attach RediLead to a vehicle,
motorcycle, bicycle, stroller, baby carriage, wheelchair or similar machine.
DO NOT use RediLead through a window or door of a dwelling or other building. DO NOT use RediLead on stairs, on elevators or on
escalators.
DO NOT run or walk quickly when using RediLead. Use RediLead only when sitting, standing or walking slowly.
To diminish the risk of injury, wear long pants and shoes that cover toes and heels, and proactive eyewear when using this product.
DO NOT use RediLead if any part, especially the cord or tape itself, becomes damaged or frayed in any way.
If your pet pulls on the lead while walking, discontinue use of RediLead. DO NOT use RediLead if your pet pulls or lunges.
Your pet should always be under control when you attach and detach RediLead to your pet's collar or harness. When detaching
RediLead, be sure that the cord or tape is fully retracted. If RediLead is not fully retracted, the cord or tape can retract suddenly, causing
serious injury to you or your pet. In order to avoid injury, always extend and retract RediLead slowly and cautiously.
DO NOT extend RediLead quickly, or when the pet is pulling or lunging.
