USER GUIDE Introduction Congratulations on the purchase of your SmartSound device. This unit is widely used for applications requiring playback of preselected audio upon detecting motion. It has a built-in PIR (Passive Infrared) wide-angle sensor that detects motion from up to 16 feet (5 meters) and works day or night, as it does not rely on light. -

Once motion is detected and audio is being played, the unit will not interrupt audio playback.
