1. Introduction The LED425 Validator allows the user to inspect money, credit cards, IDs, or any other security documents to help in verifying and confirming their authenticity. This User Guide will allow you to become familiar with all the details related to the unit’s operation.

4. Installation When choosing a position/location for the LED425 validator, avoid choosing a location close to a strong natural/artificial light source as this can overpower the UV feature’s fluorescence. Connect the power adaptor to the power outlet on the wall and the DC plug into the device power adaptor jack on the LED425.
5. Operation Description To use the unit appropriately and efficiently, we recommend that the user become familiar with the security features of the bills or documents that they want to analyze. Additionally, the user should compare any suspicious bills against a genuine one, to better determine its authenticity.

The UV LED light should be activated with the bill or document as it is placed in the inspection area. If the bill or document does not activate the UV light, press the UV control button to turn the UV light on manually.

5. Operation Description (continued) 5.2 Watermark Verification Operation Place the bill or document to be analyzed in the Verification Window. If you are not verifying the watermark on US dollar bills you will need to remove the Template Guide for a larger verification area. Press the WM function button to turn the WM screen ON.
6. Cleaning and Maintenance CAUTION: Before performing any cleaning process, turn off the equipment and unplug it. Please note that problems or defects caused by lack of maintenance are not covered under the warranty. a) Internal cleaning of the unit It is necessary to clean the interior of the equipment once a month or more frequently depending on use.
