    If the menu is not auto displayed, please click the「index.html」on the CD-ROM. Then, click the 「RAD192D USB Audio Driver Installation (please do this for the first time)」from the menu. Besides, please use the browser of Microsoft Internet Explorer. If security control screen as follows appears, please click the [Run(R)].

    5-2. USB audio signal connection Connect the PC USB terminal with this machine’s [USB Audio OUT] connector. The USB audio recording OS is compatible with Windows Vista, 7 and MAC OS 10.6.3 or later version OS. ※The high spec PC is recommended as it needs to do high speed data transmission during recording. 5-3.

    PC with digital input terminal. (The signal output from RAD192D is stereo linear PCM. It is not compatible with AC3 or 5.1ch etc.) When the COAXIAL cable becomes loose, please press the outer metal part (ground part) inwards and make sure it will not loosen again.

    6. Operation of Main Unit 6-1. Power input Please double check whether the connection is correct or not. Press the POWER switch, the power will become At this moment, the blue light will appear around the POWER switch.     6-3-2. Windows PC is connected with USB When the Windows PC is connected with USB, it is not possible to do the sampling rate change from RAD192D main unit Please do the setup of sampling rate under PC sound properties.

Do the sampling rate setting under the [Advanced]. ※For Windows PC, only 44.1KHz, 48KHz, 96KHz, 192KHz are available for selection. (Windows does not support the 88.2KHz and 176.4KHz.) ※Output sampling rate from each digital audio output connectors are the same as the USB Audio.

    When MAC PC is connected with the machine’s USB, it is not possible to do the sampling rate change from RAD192D main unit. Please select “RAD192D” under sound setting. Then, do the sampling rate setting under Audio MIDI setting. Open [Apple mark] → [System Preferences…], or double click [System Preferences] in the [Applications].
  • Page 19 If the [Line 1 (type:USB)] does not appear here, it is possible the power of this machine is not on or the USB cable has not been connected. Please double check the cable connections etc. When multiple USB input devices are connected, the number in [Line 1] may become different. Under this situation, please select RAD192D as the input device.

    Then, do the input sampling rate setting. Open the [Audio MIDI setup] according to the sequence shown in the left picture. Finder → Applications → Utilities → Audio MIDI Setup The [Audio Devices] window is open. Select the [Line 1] from the left device list. Then, it is possible to select the input sampling frequency from the right [Format].

    6-6. Input range adjustment When the level of input sound signal meets, it is possible to change the input sensitivity. Press the LEVEL / SELECT knob some times until the 「Range」 becomes orange color. Turn the LEVEL / SELECT knob to change the setup.

    7. Remote Control Operation Method 7-1. Preparation The battery is enclosed in the remote control. For safety sake, the battery is isolated with a protective sheet. Please pull off the sheet per following arrow direction when you want to use it. Pull off the illustrated yellow sheet.

    7-3. Output volume adjustment Press the VOL - key, the output volume will become smaller. Press the VOL + key, the output volume will become bigger. When the volume value is changed, the value in the setting area (The value is displayed by figure and bar.) will be changed accordingly.

    Noise or chattering comes out during USB Audio or DSD OUT recording The RAD192D is communicating with the PC at the high-speed USB2.0 (maximum 480Mbps). If other USB devices are connected simultaneously, or the CPU loading is too big, the bandwidth for the machine will become insufficient and results in noise or chattering.
