c) Custom Parameters
The Custom Parameters are user-specified
descriptions of data and info to be tracked with the
measurement, and can be anything that suits the user's
needs. Making a new parameter adds that column to
the Measurement History dialog (the column will be
empty for any preceding measurements). The
parameter is also added as a field in the Start Run
Dialog. These fields can be renamed or deleted. Note
that if a field is deleted the existing entries are saved. If
a field with the same name is created, that column in
Measurement History will then be repopulated with the
old entries as well.
