Thermal Considerations A suitable heat sink is provided to meet thermal requirements. If you use any other heat sink than that supplied by MEN, or no heat sink at all, warranty on functionality and reliability of the G214 may cease. -

Functional Description 3.4.1.2 Display Resolution The G214 supports up to six single Displays via its DisplayPort connectors. If more than one DisplayPort interface is used, the type of PCIe connection limits the maximum resolution on each interface. The following table shows the maximum resolution on each DisplayPort using up to six displays with the same resolution. -

Functional Description 3.4.2 Connection of Displays 3.4.2.1 Daisy-Chaining Displays The DisplayPort 1.2 interfaces simplify connecting displays with multi-streaming technology (MST). MST enables daisy-chaining of displays compatible with DisplayPort 1.2 and the use of MST hubs to drive multiple displays via one DisplayPort connector. A DisplayPort 1.1a compatible display in the daisy-chain has to be the last member of the chain, since it has no DisplayPort output available. -

Functional Description 3.4.2.3 AMD Eyefinity Technology The AMD Eyefinity Multi-Display Technology allows the use of up to six displays simultaneously. This enables addressing of multiple displays with the same resolution as a "single large surface", where all connected displays appear as one large screen.
