Q-Sense E1 Pump and Flow System Setup
Part 1 – Ismatec Reglo
Before switching the pump
on, check the voltage

setting and fuse on the
backside:
220-240V: use 250mA fuses
110-120V: use 500mA fuses
Insert the 3-stop color-coded tubing into the cassettes.

Set the pump speed by

adjusting the 2-digit selector.
The pump tubing supplied by
Q-Sense has an ID of 0.38
mm, giving the following flow
rates:
3.2 rpm = 28 µl/min (select "01")
160 rpm = 1.4 ml/min (select "99")

Part 2 – Tubing connectors
The ferrule forms a tight
seal as it is deformed
w
hen being screwed into
the flow module. Place th
ferrule and threaded
connector as shown
before attaching them.
Make sure to cut the
PTFE tubing at right
angles. It is recommend
to use the blue tube
cutting device include
the Liquid Handling Set.
Note that the arrows on
the top of the module
