Thermostat Fault
● Short circuit condition
● Stop valve not completely open
Board detected a high current condition.
● Overcharge
● Faulty control board
● Faulty compressor
● Blocked/restricted condenser coil and/or
lines
The control encountered an abnormal
● The compressor wire is lost phase
condition during the startup procedure.
● Inconsistent compressor load
● Faulty control board
Indicates the control board may need to
● Faulty control board
be replaced.
● High or low voltage from supply
The control has detected a voltage
● The compressor wire is lost phase
related issue with the compressor.
● Faulty control board
● Thermistors inoperable or improperly
Indicates the control board may need to
connected
be replaced.
● Faulty control board
● Bluetooth Shared Data Loader BTSDL01
Control determines that its compressor
not correct
requirement is different than the
● Control board mismatch
compressor capability.
● Refrigerant leak
The control has detected a low
● Low refrigerant charge
refrigerant condition.
● Thermistors inoperable or not properly
connected
Control detects a low power supply
● Low line voltage supply
voltage condition.
Control detects a high power supply
● High line voltage supply
voltage condition.
The control detects the outdoor
temperature outside recommended
● Ambient air conditions too high or low
operational range. Unit may continue to
operate normally.
The control is unable to start the Cooling
mode test because indoor heat has been
● Heat provided by secondary heating source
turned on by thermostat. Please set
thermostat to off position.
The control is unable to start the System
Verification test because indoor heat has
● Heat provided by secondary heating source
been turned on by thermostat. Please
set thermostat to off position.
The control is unable to enter the Pump
Down Mode because indoor heat has
● Heat provided by secondary heating source
been turned on by thermostat. Please
set thermostat to off position.
The control is unable to enter Charging
Mode because indoor heat has been
● Heat provided by secondary heating source
turned on by thermostat. Please set
thermostat to off position.
This indicates there is a voltage issue on
● High or low voltage from supply
the control board. See service manual for
● Faulty control board
troubleshooting information.
This indicates potential communication
issues have been detected by the
● Communication wiring disconnected
outdoor control board.
This error indicates the equipment is
experiencing frequent compressor faults.
● Stop valve not completely open
Control has determined continued
● The compressor wire is lost phase
operation is acceptable. This indicates
● Compressor motor failure
they may be a problem with the
equipment.
OUTDOOR UNIT- ERROR CODES
Probable Causes
