Installing the batteries

Hold the aluminum casing firmly in one hand and turn the end cap in a counter-clockwise direction until fully unscrewed. Pull the end cap away from the casing and this will reveal the battery cartridge. Place each battery in turn within the cartridge ensuring that the polarity marks (+ and -) on the battery matches that of the cartridge. With all batteries installed replace the cartridge into the casing and turn the end cap in a clock-wise direction until fully tightened. The flashlight is now ready to be used.

Operating the flashlight

Simply press the end cap once to turn on the flashlight and once more to turn it off again.

The light from this lamp is very powerful and should not be pointed directly into anyone's eyes, as this may cause short term blindness. If the beam does shine in your eyes, close them and look away immediately. In the case of commercial use, the user of the lamp should only use this product in accordance with any local laws and regulations.

The symbol shown on the right means that the product is classed as and should not be disposed with other household or commercial waste at the end of its life. The Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive has been put in place to recycle products using best available recovery and recycling techniques to minimize the impact on the environment, treat any hazardous substances and avoid the increasing landfill.

Devices bearing the adjacent symbol must not be disposed of with household waste. Please remove all batteries and dispose of these in an environmentally friendly manner. Return the device to the local collection point for waste electronic equipment or to the manufacturer/importer, who will dispose of the device in an environmentally friendly manner.
