The PEPE Walking Sticks are designed for people who need extra support for walking. They
have a simple folding system in four sections for easy storage and transport of the cane.
HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
Do not use this equipment without first reading and understanding these instructions. If
needed, contact health care professional, dealer or technical personnel before attempting to
use, otherwise injury may occur.
Adjust the height following the next instructions:
1. Stand on a flat surface and let your arm hang down naturally by your side. Set the cane
height so the top part of the handle touches the inside part of the wrist.
2. Release the safety locking thread (1) by turning it clockwise once. Press the clip (2) and
slide the tube up or down between the 5 settings to the appropriate height.
3. To set the height make sure that the pin is correctly placed in the hole and place the safety
locking band again.
When using the cane, grip the handle placing its long part backwards.

GENERAL WARNINGS
Follow the instructions below to ensure safe use of the walking stick:
- Walking sticks must be regularly checked for any damage or wear.
- Hold the whole stick when unfolding it, so it does not spring out and cause any damage or
surprise to the user or others around. Keep fingers clear when folding it, so it do not get caught
in any way.
- Take care when using on slippery surfaces, a walking stick cannot stop you from slipping.
- Do not apply excess weight to the stick and never exceed the indicated maximum weight.
- Walking sticks are solely for use as an aid to walk and they are not designed to bear the total
body weight.
- Before using the cane, check that all parts are connected and securely fixed. In case of signs
of breakage or damage, do not use the cane.
- Check that the height adjustment clip is correctly positioned and securely locked in one of the
holes.
- Check that the safety lock thread is tight when using the cane.
- Do not store the cane in temperatures below freezing.
- Use the cane only for the purpose for which it was designed. The company is not responsible
in any way for any misuse of the cane, or for injuries or damages caused as a result of it.
- Any serious incident related to the product should be reported to the manufacturer and the competent
authority of the Member State in which they are user and patient set.
- Keep the Rollator clean by wiping with a damp cloth on regular basis. Do not use abrasive cleaning
materials.

Los Bastones PEPE son unos bastones diseñados para personas que necesitan un apoyo
extra para caminar. Cuentan con un sencillo sistema de plegado en cuatro secciones para
facilitar el almacenaje y transporte del bastón.
AJUSTE DE ALTURA
No use este producto sin leer y entender las instrucciones. Si fuera necesario, contacte a un
profesional de salud, a un distribuidor o a personal técnico antes para evitar posibles lesiones.
Para ajustar la altura del bastón:
1. Colóquese erguido sobre una superficie firme y plana, dejando que su brazo cuelgue a su costado.
La empuñadura debe quedar a la altura de su muñeca para un correcto ajuste de la altura.
2. Suelte la rosca de bloqueo de seguridad (1) haciéndola girar una vez en el sentido de las agujas
del reloj. Presione el clip (2) y deslice el tubo hacia arriba o hacia abajo entre las 5 regulaciones hasta
la altura adecuada.
3. Para fijar la altura asegúrese de que el clip queda bien colocado en el orificio correspondiente y
vuelva a apretar la rosca de bloqueo de seguridad.

ADVERTENCIAS GENERALES
Siga las siguientes instrucciones para garantizar el uso seguro del bastón:
- Compruebe con regularidad que el bastón no presenta daños o desgaste.
- A la hora de plegarlo sostenga toda la caña para que no salte y produzca daños. Mantenga
los dedos alejados de los pliegues para que no queden atrapados.
- Tenga cuidado al usar el bastón en superficies resbaladizas para evitar posibles caídas.
- No aplique peso excesivo al bastón y nunca sobrepase el peso máximo indicado.
- Los bastones se deben usar únicamente como una ayuda para caminar, no están diseñados
para soportar el peso total del cuerpo.
- Antes de usar el bastón, compruebe que todas las partes están conectadas y fijadas con
seguridad. En caso de signos de roturas o desperfectos no use el bastón.
- Compruebe que el clip de ajuste de altura está correctamente colocado y bloqueado con
seguridad en uno de los orificios.
- Compruebe que la rosca de bloqueo de seguridad está apretada cuando use el bastón.
- No guarde el bastón a temperaturas por debajo del punto de congelación.
- Use el bastón solamente para el propósito para el que ha sido diseñado. La empresa no es
responsable en ningún modo de cualquier mal uso que se haga del bastón, ni de lesiones o
daños producidos como consecuencia del mismo.
- Cualquier incidente grave relacionado con el producto debe notificarse al fabricante y a la autoridad
competente del Estado miembro en el que estén establecidos el usuario y el paciente.
- Mantenga limpio su andador utilizando un paño húmedo. No use materiales de limpieza abrasivos.

I Bastoni da passeggio PEPE sono progettati per le persone che hanno bisogno di un
sostegno extra per camminare. Hanno un semplice sistema di piegatura in quattro sezioni per
una facile conservazione e trasporto del bastone.
REGOLAZIONE ALTEZZA
Non utilizzare questa apparecchiatura senza aver prima letto e compreso queste istruzioni. Se
necessario, contattare l'operatore sanitario, il rivenditore o il personale tecnico prima di tentare l'uso,
altrimenti potrebbero verificarsi lesioni.
Regola l'altezza seguendo le seguenti istruzioni:
1. Stare su una superficie piana e lasciare che il braccio penda naturalmente al tuo fianco. Regola
l'altezza del bastone in modo che la parte superiore del manico tocchi la parte interna del polso.
2. Rilasciare la filettatura di sicurezza (1) girandola una volta in senso orario. Premere la clip (2) e far
scorrere il tubo su o giù tra le 5 impostazioni fino all'altezza appropriata.
3. Per impostare l'altezza assicurarsi che il perno sia posizionato correttamente nel foro e
riposizionare la fascia di bloccaggio di sicurezza.
Quando si utilizza il bastone, afferrare la maniglia posizionando la sua parte lunga all'indietro.

AVVERTENZE GENERALI
Seguire le istruzioni seguenti per garantire un uso sicuro del bastone da passeggio:
- I bastoni da passeggio devono essere controllati regolarmente per eventuali danni o usura.
- Tenere l'intero bastone quando lo si apre, in modo che non salti fuori e causi danni o
sorprese all'utente o ad altri intorno. Tieni le dita libere quando lo pieghi, in modo che non
rimanga impigliato in alcun modo.
- Fare attenzione quando si utilizza su superfici scivolose, un bastone da passeggio non può
impedirti di scivolare.
- Non applicare peso in eccesso allo stick e non superare mai il peso massimo indicato.
