OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Electronic solid state design
High volume melt chamber for larger gluingprojects
Unique heat flow system keeps handle comfortably cool

IMPORTANT OPERATION NOTICE. When first using your new Glue Gun, it will take two 4" sticks of glue to fill the melt chamber before glue begins to flow out. Wait 3 to 5 minutes for gun to heat up.

If, when squeezing trigger, glue does not enter gun easily, do NOT continue to squeeze trigger. Glue chamber may not be hot enough to melt glue fully.
Excessive squeezing of trigger will cause hot glue to back up and flow out of rear of gun, possibly causing severe burns.

Fold support stand forward. Fold back for use.
Place gun on work bench. Plug into 110 volt AC (N. & S. America) outlet. Wait 3 to 5 minutes to heat up.
Always un-plug glue gun when not in use.
Always wear safety glasses when using glue gun.

Allows more time for lineup. Sets in 90 to 120 seconds.

DUAL TEMP^® SETTINGS

Switching from the HIGH TEMP setting of your ARROW TR400DT™ to the LOW TEMP setting increases the number of jobs that you are able to do with your new hot melt glue gun.

LOW TEMP — 160°F (71°C) The Arrow "ALL PURPOSE" and "SLOW SET" glues are designed to melt at the cooler 160°F (71°C) setting to protect fragile materials with low melting points. Rubber balloon and Styrofoam^®* surfaces, in addition to certain fabrics, can now be beautifully decorated with much less risk of burst or damage.

HIGH-TEMP — 380°F (190°C) Flip the TEMP setting to HIGH and the ARROW glue reaches 380°F (190°C) for a more liquid consistency.
This means a more thorough seepage and bonding for heavy duty jobs on wood, leather, and cardboard surfaces.

Do not touch heated nozzle or melted glue – may cause burn! Damage may result from extended contact with tip of hot glue gun. Do not leave unattended. Keep away from children and animals. Not intended for outdoor use. Do not use near water. Unplug glue gun when not in use. Allow glue gun to cool before storing. Do not try to remove unused portion of glue sticks from gun. Do not disassemble or attempt to repair this appliance – service must beperformed only by an authorized service representative. This glue gun is for general household use only.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
For best results use only Arrow Superior Quality Glue Sticks.

All parts of Arrow Fastener products containing electrical or electronic components or parts (other than batteries) are warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship for two years from the date of purchase.

Arrow Fastener will repair or replace, FREE OF CHARGE, during the warranty period, any product that proves to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use. If repair is not practical, Arrow Fastener may elect to replace the product or refund the purchase price in exchange for return of the defective product. For best performance, use genuine Arrow® staples and nails.

Labor charges incurred by the original purchaser to repair the product are excluded. This limited warranty does not cover damage to the product relating to normal wear and tear, misuse, abuse or neglect. No warranty is provided for the batteries. Proof of purchase from the original purchaser must be made available to Arrow Fastener for all warranty claims. This is the exclusive warranty by Arrow Fastener Company for its products containing electrical or electronic components or parts (other than batteries).

Implied Warranties. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, IS LIMITED TO THE SAME DURATION AS THE APPLICABLE EXPRESS WARRANTY.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

Limitation of Liability. ARROW FASTENER SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHETHER ARISING OUT OF BREACH OF WARRANTY, BREACH OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE. Some states do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusion and limitation may not apply to you.
This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you also may have other rights which vary from state to state. In Canada, the above provisions are not intended to operate where prohibited by law and do not preclude the operation of any applicable provincial protection statute which may in certain circumstances extend the express warranty herein.
