Fasteners
Tighten attachment fasteners. Re-
place if cracked, deformed or bro-
ken.
General Materials/Finishes 1
Refer to the General Cleaning/Re-
pairing Instructions found in the
"Freestanding Play System Play-
ground Maintenance Sheet."
Bushings
Replace if mechanism binds or
metal-to-metal contact is noted.
Bolt Covers
Replace if plastic is cracked, brittle
or seriously discolored.
Surfacing
Surfacing should cover the base
of the seesaw with a 2"- 4"depth
and be level throughout the area.
(Please see Leg Attachment De-
tail) Warning: The seesaw de-
pends on correct surface height to
stop excessive movement. Ne-
glecting surfacing will lead to pre-
mature polyurethane rod failure.
Polyurethane Rod
Replace if the Stand-Up Seesaw
pivots freely and lacks resistance.
Seesaw Assembly
Replace if welds are broken, or if
the assembly is deformed, or pit-
ted with rust. Repair damaged
powdercoating per instruction
sheet.
Base Assembly
Replace if welds are broken, or if
the assembly is deformed, or pit-
ted with rust. Repair damaged
powdercoating per instruction
sheet.
