Please carefully read the instructions for use below before using the appliance.

REGARDING THE NI-MH BATTERIES OF THIS UNIT

To obtain and maintain the longest battery autonomy possible, allow it to charge for 16 hours before using it for the first time and then approximately every three months. full autonomy of the unit will only be obtained after three complete recharge cycles

CHARGING THE UNIT

1. Remove the trimmer and all the accessories from the base and turn the base over. open the security tongue, insert the power cord into the opening intended for this, pushing it in firmly and replace the security tongue. place the cord in the groove. put the base back in place and connect it to the mains.
   
2. Place the trimmer (set to off) in the charging base and check that the charging indicator light is on.
3. A full charge (16 hours) will allow you 40 minutes of autonomous use.
4. Before using the trimmer for the first time, allow it to charge for 16 hours.
5. Subsequent charges should also be 16 hours.

USE OF THE MAINS

To use the trimmer on the mains, plug the cord directly into the unit.

Plug the trimmer, in the off position, into the mains and switch on (If the battery is very weak, wait about 1 minute).

Use only the adapter that is supplied with the trimmer.

WATERPROOF

For a greater comfort of use, your e837e trimmer is waterproof and can even be used in the shower. easy to clean, it guarantees a maximum hygiene.

The cord must be unplugged from the handle before using the appliance in the shower.

ATTACHING AND REMOVING ACCESSORIES

Make sure that the unit is switched off before changing the trimmer head or accessories.

To attach a head, fit the base of the accessory onto the unit pressing it until you hear a click.

To remove a head, hold the handle of the unit in one hand and push up on the head with your free hand to remove it.

To remove the body comb guide, push up one side of the comb.

USING THE CUTTING GUIDES

Very practical, the cutting guide guarantees equal cutting length.

Always attach the cutting guide Before turning the trimmer on, and turn it off before changing the guide.

The cutting length of your E837E trimmer is manually adjustable.

To increase the cutting length, push the cutting guide up.

To reduce the cutting length, push it down.

The selected length is displayed at the back of the trimmer.

MAINTENANCE

Remove the cutting guide after each use.

Cleaning the trimmer blades regularly will maintain their optimal performance.

Removable blades

To make cleaning easier, the BaByliss trimmer blades can be removed. Make sure the trimmer is turned off. Hold the trimmer with the blades pointing up and remove them by pressing the top of the blade.

Brush the blades using the cleaning brush to remove any hair.

Self-lubricating blades

The blades of your trimmer have a reservoir pad for releasing the necessary amount of oil for proper operation of your trimmers, time after time. nevertheless, it is recommended that it be refilled occasionally when you notice performance is not as high.

Remove the blades as described above.

Squeeze a few drops of BaByliss oil onto the pad.

Then replace the blades on the trimmer.

The BaByliss oil is specially formulated for the trimmer, it does not evaporate nor does it slow the blades.

It is possible to obtain replacement blades when these are worn out or damaged.
