POP-UP SUN SHELTER
KEEP ALL FLAME AND HEAT SOURCES AWAY FROM THIS TENT FABRIC.
This tent meets the flammability requirements of CPAI-84. The fabric may burn if left in continuous
contact with any flame source. The application of any foreign substance to the tent fabric may render
the flame-resistant properties ineffective.
DO NOT:
>
Do not set up your tent under overhead power lines and trees. Inclement weather may
increase the likelihood for overhead power lines and trees (fallen tree branches) to pose a risk
to you while using a tent.
>
Do not pitch tent near an open flame.
Do not leave campfires unattended.
>
>
Do not allow CHILDREN or ADULTS to use lighted candles, matches or other flame sources
in or near tents.
Do not use heating, lighting or cooking equipment with open flames in or near tents.
>
>
Do not use fuel burning/oxygen consuming devices (i.e. heaters, lanterns, or other flame
sources) inside your tent at any time.
Do not spray the tent with insecticide.
>
EXTREME CAUTION: Never use any fuel burning/oxygen consuming device, or any device
>
that produces fumes (including stoves, lanterns, candles, hibachis, or heaters) in or around
your tent. Inhalation of fumes may result in carbon monoxide poisoning, injury and/or death.
DO:
>
Do secure your tent using sand or stakes before using the tent to optimize its performance and
to prevent property damage or injury.
>
Do when during windy conditions, position the narrow end of the tent into the wind.
>
Always extinguish campfire before leaving the area.
Exercise care when using electricity and lighting in and near tents.
>
>
Disassemble and store tent properly after camping to ensure the tent's longevity.
>
Always use a hammer/mallet when driving stakes into the ground.

  • Page 3 SECURING THE TENT USING GUYLINES, TENSIONERS, & STAKES (OPTIONAL) This feature is not used for regular, light, beach use If the tensioner is no longer connected to the guyline: Reference Images Plastic Tenioner Anchor Loop Guylines Step 1 Thread the end of the guyline through the anchor loop and secure by pulling taut around the loop.
  • Page 4 TAKE DOWN Step 1 | Before taking down: Remove each stake one-by-one. Remove any sandbags used. Step 1a Step 1b Face either the front or rear of the tent. Using (2) hands, sqeeze (2) Once the pole joints are bent, gently lay the frame flat on the ground. Release any unbent sets of the top trangular part of the frame.
