    Weight ..............340 kg. Foreword The FKR-125 HY chain mower from Fransgård is designed to remove bushes, heather and small trees, primarily on remote forest roads. The chain mower has proven to be a cost-effective and efficient piece of machinery for removing self-sowed vegetation.
  • Page 4 Mounting and instructions for piston engines: All types of hydraulic engines can experience cavitation, such as when the oil supply is shut off. This is especially likely to happen with high revolutions or with heavy loads. Regardless of the type of valve, we recommend that bypass valves and drainage hoses are always used on piston engines.

    Prior to starting piston engines, the housing should be at least 50% filled with oil. See Fig. 1.2 The engine should be started with no pressure until the air is out of the system. It would be appropriate to perform brief start-ups lasting between 10 and 20 seconds so that the air can rise to the surface of the tank.

    Mounting and commissioning Prior to assembly, the engine manufacturer's specifications must be read through and complied with as there is otherwise a risk the engine will be damaged. Check that the hydraulic hoses are the correct size and that they have sufficient free movement in relation to the machine on which they are mounted.

    Use of the machine The cutting head is guided out to the side and lowered to the desired position with the help of the hydraulics. Remember to ensure that no people or other living things are inside the risk zone before the machine is started up, then drive forward slowly and adjust the speed to the condition of the vegetation.
