2. Dimensions
The
RFID ACTIVE ONE module can handle cashless payments by single credit keys,
and supply the relevant service after the relevant activation pushbutton has been
pressed. It can be installed outdoor, but it is recommended that the mounting
position is conveniently protected against bad weather.

    It is recommended that the device is installed in such a position that is conveniently protected against bad weather. The ACTIVE ONE module is fit with a gasket template, that must be kept between the module itself and the panel surface on which it will be mounted.
  • Page 3 The output activation signals will be available from the same P5 socket, between pin 2 and pin 6 (TTL Open Collector mode) for User A and User B respectively. If the A / B machine(s) to be activated are not equipped with an interface relay or pcb, please make use of the Alberici Servo-realy p.c. board (see next section 3.3).
  • Page 4 4.1 Initializing the ACS Key Reader module: Power the machine on: the display of the Active One module will lit up red to warn that it must be initialized: Edit a 6-digit PIN code, write it down and keep it in a safe place.
  • Page 5 NOTICE: to use the device, User Keys must be available and loaded with credits; to initialize User Keys, it is necessary to initialize the Master Key first, and possibly the Service Key(s).   • Page 9 6.2.3.1 Set up peripheral devices (Cashless = ACS Key Reader) By the Master and Service key(s) it is possible to enter the “Service Menu” without any need to open up the unit and get access to the pcb programming keys. The “Service Menu” allows to initialize as many User keys as desired; this function is possible only by the “Service Menu”, or by the ACR programmer.

    The credits can be charged / added to the Card/Key in any of the following ways: 7.2.1 Self-Service charging kiosk: the kiosk must contain the Card/Key ACS module, the Alberici ccTalk coin acceptor, and/or the note validator. An easy example of such charging kiosk is the Hira range of Token Dispensers: Hira One, Hira 2 Mini, Midi, Maxi.
  • Page 15 Credit must be written in hundredth parts, i.e. 2 € = 200. Confirm by the OK button, and close down the windows by clicking on the crossed boxes at top-right corners of each window. Or else, repeat the steps to fill other initialized User Card/Keys with credit.
