    THE TEMPERATURE CONTROLLER The Automatic Temperature Controller (ATC) can be ABOUT THE ATC™ manually programmed to reach a desired temperature or computer controlled sophisticated temperature profiling. The controller automatically determines the best settings for optimal heating based on the thermal response of a particular system.

    THE TEMPERATURE CONTROLLER To connect the temperature controller to the accessory: CONNECTING THE ATC • Check to make sure that all the switches on the temperature controller are off (Figure 1). • Plug in the AC line cord into the unit and into a suitable AC outlet (Figure 2).

    If the upper display does not show an H, the symbol for the K-type thermocouple used in most Harrick accessories, press the Up-arrow until it does. If the item to be heated does not use a K-type thermocouple, please see the Watlow manual for the correct setting.

    APPENDIX A To replace a fuse: REPLACING THE FUSES • Using a slotted screw driver, twist out the fuse holder. • Replace the fuse. NOTE: To install the correct fuse for a particular application refer to the table below. • Twist the fuse holder back in place.
