Use built-in HTML forms for
easy cross platform
configuration with any web
browser as well as software
tools such as:
Waldo , a TCP/IP configuration
tool which locates Microplex
devices on the network and
allows one to monitor or
configure them on a TCP/IP
network. The software is a Java
stand-alone program.
The M307 includes a detailed
and easy-to-use command shell
"npsh" and allows remote
management through Telnet
sessions, "rsh/rcmd/remsh"
commands, SNMP and
predefined log methods; and
has extensive built-in
troubleshooting tools.
Microplex has developed its
own SNMP custom MIB, which,
together with support for MIB II,
means the M307 can be fully
managed using standards-
based SNMP managers such
as HP's Open View, Sun's Sun
Net Manager and Castle Rock's
SNMPc.
