CONGRATULATIONS on your purchase of BerleyPro's Australian
made kayak loader, the Will-I-Loader.
Before installation and use of your Will-I-Loader, please take the
time to read and fully understand these instructions. Failure to do
so may cause damage to your beloved kayak, vehicle, loader or
yourself.
WARNINGS & SAFETY
The Safe Working Load Limit (SWLL) for the Will-I-Loader is
ƻ
strictly 65kg
The Will-I-Loader is designed specifically for lifting Kayaks on
ƻ
vehicle roofs. Any other use cases are NOT supported or
warranted by BerleyPro
Do NOT strap Kayak/ Load to the Will-I-Loader.

Always ensure kayak is securely attached to the vehicle
ƻ
whenever it is in motion

Assembly AND SETUP REQUIRED
As there are many different vehicles and kayaks on the market,
some tuning and specific components are required for best
performance of your Will-I-Loader. This includes;
Gas Strut Strength, dependant on kayak weight
ƻ
Hitch Tongue Length, dependant on vehicle requirements
ƻ
Upright Support Height, dependant on vehicle height
ƻ

Loading AND UNLOADING
While this product is designed to make the loading and unloading
of your kayak easier, it is important to be familiar and practice the
prescribed process.

Maintenance REQUIREMENTS
Like all mechanical devices, the Will-I-Loader requires occasional
maintenance to ensure consistent performance. Failure to do so
may lead to premature wear or component failure.

  • Page 3 Keep Loader Clean - Every Use Lubricate Gas Strut - 1-2 Months Ensure the Will-I-Loader is kept clean of any salt, grit and dust build up. Hose off the To ensure reliable operation of the gas strut, regularly check shaft is clean of any grit Will-I-Loader with fresh water after any use in a salt water environment.
  • Page 4 LOADING Pull the crossbar down to your preferred loading height. For loaders fitted with heavy Push Bumper forward towards vehicle until there is a slight amount of tension on the struts, the cheater bar can be used for additional leverage. Do NOT leave the loader engagement lever.
  • Page 5 UNLOADING Remove Pin from ratchet mechanism Ensure bumper lever is disengaged by pushing it flat against loader upright. This enables the ratchet mechanism If required, pull the crossbar to desired unloading height. This is generally one “Click” Pull kayak off of roof rack. Make sure not to apply rearward pressure to the loader until the center of gravity of the kayak is just short of the loader.
