How to read your Smart Meter Icons and Indicators These icons appear on the left hand side of the display panel Indicates the current register reading. E1 and E2 indicate the direction of energy through the meter on each of two circuits at your premises. The left arrow indicates the energy exported into the electricity grid, and the right arrow the energy imported from the electricity grid to your premises.
