Keep the manual in a safe place and if you pass this product on to any other person, be sure to give that person this instruction manual.

Save all warnings and instructions for future reference. The term "power tool" in the warnings refers to your mains-operated (corded) power tool or battery-operated (cordless) power tool.
  • Page 5 e) Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations. f) Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
  • Page 6 Protect yourself from the dangers that occur when sanding by wearing a dust mask and protective goggles. Always connect the dust extractor to the machine during operation. Do not work on material containing asbestos. When sanding metal be aware that the sparks produced can pose a risk of fire. Because of the risk of fire, inflammable materials must be removed from the spark flight zone and / or working area.
  • Page 7 Mains voltage Ensure that the local mains voltage is in conformity with the information on the rating label. The machine is designed for use with single phase alternating current 230 V˜ / 50 Hz and is double-insulated. Make certain that the rated voltage stated on the machine’s type plate matches the local mains voltage before using the machine.
  • Page 8 Fitting sanding sheets Before, check the sanding plate and remove any debris on it if any. Stick the sanding paper on the sanding plate. The sanding paper must fit the surface of the sanding plate and may not overlap. The holes in the sanding paper must line up with the holes in the sanding plate in order for the dust extraction to function properly.
  • Page 9 Caution: Wear safety goggles, ear protection and a dust mask when using the machine. Always keep a firm grip on the tool. Use both hands. Keep your fingers away from the sanding plate/attachment. Switch the machine ON and wait until the machine has reached its full no load speed before engaging with the workpiece.
  • Page 10 Changing / emptying the collection bag Remove the dust collector from the machine as described above. Remove the black cover (C) from the dust collector. Empty the dust collector and clean using compressed air. The dust collector can also be washed but must be dried thoroughly before being re-used.

    Maintenance and cleaning Care Clean the machine each time you use it. Pay particular attention to the area around the ventilation slots and ensure that these are free of wood dust to prevent the risk of the motor overheating. For this reason we recommend that you clean the multi sander with compressed air each time you use it.
