    Interaction between ebike and gear-shifting The gear-shifting should be used with an ebike drive in the same way as with a normal bicycle. Irrespective of the type of gear-shifting, it is advisable to briefly stop pedaling when changing gear. This will facilitate the gear change and reduce wear on the powertrain.

It’s better to take off the key instead of leaving it on the ebike, but please don’t lose the key which is only matched for the locker on your bike.

  • Page 17 Assembling Your E-Bike 1) Read all of the instructions carefully. Be familiar with the proper operation of all items. 2) This quick guide is intended to list the steps needed to assemble your bike with some mechanical skills. It is not a complete manual or training.

  • Page 22 3) Charge your battery fully in preparation for your first ride. 4) Push the battery pack into the downtube tightly until it gets locked with a clatter sound. Seat your battery securely and remove the key from the lock.
  • Page 23 How to Use the Display 1 Power on/off Press the button to turn on the remote controller (see Figure2) for one second. Your bike will be turned ON, display will be on (see Figure1). To switch off E-bike system, hold the On /Off button for 2s. The E-bike system no longer uses the battery power.
