  • Page 3 INSTALLING / REMOVING THE BATTERY v w x To install the battery, put the battery on the back or the radio, as shown in ①②. Push it horizontally along the slot to the top until it clicks. To remove the battery, turn off the radio first , push the bottom battery safety lock and remove the battery as shown in ③.
  • Page 4 INSTALL BELT CLIP To install the belt clip, remove the screws from the back of the battery and install the belt clip. INSTALL ACCESSORIES v w Open the jack cover and insert the earphone/programming cable into the radio. Keep covered if not in use.
  • Page 5 BASIC OPERATION 1. Power on/off: Long press the "power button" until the screen lights up to power on. Long press the “power button” until the shutdown animation appears to power off. 2. Adjust Volume Rotate the "volume knob" clockwise to increase the volume, rotate counterclockwise to decrease the volume.
