- Page 5 Preparing your coffee grinder 1. Remove all packaging and dispose of it. 2. Remove the tape holding the lid on and dispose of it. 3. Remove the lid by pulling upwards off the motor base. 4. Wash the lid in hot soapy water then dry thoroughly with a cloth. 5.
