    INTRODUCTION Thank you for choosing this humidifier. Each unit has been manufactured to ensure safety and reliability. Before using for the first time, please read the instructions carefully and keep them for future reference. IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following: 1.

    POLARIZED PLUG This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of shock, this plug is intended to fit only one way in a polarized outlet. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.

  • Page 5 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS NOTE: this is an ULTRASONIC COOL MIST humidifier. The mist is cool. There is no steaming or boiling of water. 1. Place unit on a smooth level surface that can support the unit when filled with water. 2. Make sure the unit is unplugged and in the off position. 3.

    9. Place the adjustable misting outlet back in place, on top of the water tank. Plug the power cord into a 120V wall socket. 10. Turn the mist dial clockwise to turn on unit. The indicator light will illuminate. INDICATOR LIGHT STATUS: GREEN: There is enough water in the base and unit is in operation.

    CARE & MAINTAINENCE WARNING: DO NOT leave water in the tank or basin when unit is not to be used as it may result in the build up of mineral deposits and bacteria that can inhibit the output efficiency of the humidifier. If water remains in the tank or basin for more than a day or two, bacterial growth is possible.

    TROUBLESHOOTING Humidifier does not work at all: • Check if circuit is tripped. • Check if unit is properly plugged into a 120V power outlet. • Check if mist dial is turned to the ON position. • If green or red indicator light does not turn on, contact Customer Service at 800-330-0388. The indicator light is red and not turning green.
