Docking and undocking (if applicable) Before docking or undocking, make sure you have safely disconnected any USB device connected to the USB port on the device. Before trying to undock your device, please turn it o and wait at least 10 seconds.

Turn On Your Device If this is the rst time you turn on your device, connect the AC adapter and fully charge the battery. To turn on your equipment, press the power button (normally 1 to 2 seconds) until the display is turned on and the Home screen appears.

Touchscreen Operations The most common methods are tapping and typing on the touchscreen directly with your ngers or by using the stylus pen. In this section, you will learn to do this both ways. Both areas give a quick view and head up of your device status. The status area gives you a quick view of the device status (including the wireless connection and battery status) and system time.

WIRELESS NETWORKS AND DEVICES Your device can connect to a variety of networks and devices, including Wi-Fi data networks and Bluetooth devices. 9.1. WI-FI networks A Wi-Fi connection requires access to a functioning Wireless Access Point (WAP), also called a hotspot.
